Wow what a great September.

​Let spring begin. We started the month with the chidren planting some seeds, some vegies and some flowers, the children have been able to water these and watch them grow.  Our Nga Teina rooms planning was just focused on spring and everything that happens during spring, like all the baby lambs that are born and the daffidols that srat growing during the spring season. Our Nga Tuakana planning was focused on spring and book characters. They too plannted all different types of seeds from the New Word promtion little garden. The children also took a liking to the Big Block of Chocolate book which they broke down into parts and acted out. It was great to see them so engaged and loving the story.

We also got to Welcome in the month with our amazing Fathers day brunch. which was delishious, a big cooked breakfast, our children did a little performance of songs and all parents were given a gift from their child. We had Dads, Mums, Grandparents other famiy member come in for the monring. We had a free raffle and gave a way about 20 gifts to our parents and the children got to enjoy a jumpy castle, biscuts decorating and making masks. It was a reay great morning.

Maori language week was a great sucess, our teachers were encouraging with the children with Te Reo numeracy and literacy along with with the teaching of Maori songs. a great learning experience for all involved.
