Supporting and engaging with our Kids Count Whanau and Tamariki Covid August 2021

We once again experienced level 4 Lockdown with a new variant of a covid virus called delta.

Our Kids Count Pukekohe Centre was unable to operate over this period of time however in the MOE bulletin on the 20th August we were allowed to deliver contactless resource packs to our whanau and Tamariki to encourage distance education with our Kids Count online learning programme.

We dropped the packs by your letterboxes and were overwhelmed with messages of gratitude with the children opening and getting stuck into their resource packs.

Over this period of time, we also had videos of our Kids Count Pukekohe Team doing some singing, reading, and other videos for the Tamariki to keep them busy.

Our Whanau shared some resources that they were also making at home, puzzles, a grass monster, bird feeders and much more. We were able to share these on our Kids Count Face Book page.

What a great community of learners and Teachers we have amongst our Kids Count Pukekohe Whanau.

Remember to join our Kids Count Pukekohe Face Book Page if you haven't already Whanau,  like, follow and share what happens at Kids Count Pukekohe join us on our wonderful learning journey together.

Remember to keep safe Whanau and hopefully we will see you back at the Centre very soon.
