Our Samoan Language Week!

Talofa Lava! At Lenore Road the tamariki have been engaging in so many fun activities and immersing themselves in the beautiful culture of Samoa throughout the week! They were painting traditional tapa patterns onto paper, weaving, learning Samoan songs and learning how to count to 10 AND learn the names of different colours! Alongside this the tamariki within their classes were learning an item that they would perform to everyone on Friday! Friday came along and the teachers had made beautiful lava lava's for them to wear, and they all did so well with their performances! We then finished it off with a delicious Samoan treat 'Suaf'ai' (banana pudding), we had a great week!
