Over the past month our 3s and 4s have been going to Smiths Ave community every Monday to learn different game skills.  This will help to strengthen their gross motor skills through hand-eye co-ordination, social and having lots of fun.  Thanks Counties Manukau sports for teaching us some cool skills.

Random acts of kindness - Special visit from Batman

 What a great surprise as we were getting ready to explore our outdoors when all of a sudden a superhero arrives in our carpark. All our tamariki were excited as Batman came in to visit us today, we even had photos. Thanks Batman you made our tamariki day with your special visit to our centre.

On Friday 22nd we gathered all our tamariki together and sang waiata and 2 minute silence alongside our nation.  We spread aroha and whanaungatanga all day.  We send our aroha to all our whanau in Christchurch.

​November was a busy month for us we celebrated many cultures and celebrations.  We had lots of fun learning different greetings, waiata, dance and best of all the yummy food.  Our tamariki got to experience Rangatahi Festival at Kereru Park Campus and see all cultural groups perform on stage.

This month our tuakana had their first visit to Takanini Lodge aged care.  They shared stories and sang waiata before having some morning tea with our nannie's and poppa's.  We can't wait to visit next week where we are gonna take playdough, have fun and use our imagination to create.
